Cooling Visit
During your cooling visit, Climate Control performs the following:
- Replace filter (1in) / clean EAC if included on agreement
- Wipe off blower motor/wheel, blower inlet and check motor bearings
- Check electrical connections
- Clean condensate drain/cycle condensate pump
- Brush off condensing coil
- Inspect refrigeration system for leaks
- Test and record temperature split at evaporator (18-22) degrees
- Test and record temperature split at condenser (20-35) degrees
- Test and record compressor amperage draw
- Record ambient air temperature
- Test capacitors
- Record static pressure of duct system (as required)
- Clean and wipe off equipment
- Cycle unit at thermostat/confirm settings
Heating Visit
During your heating visit, Climate Control performs the following:
- Replace filter (1in) / clean EAC if included on agreement
- Wipe off blower motor/wheel, blower inlet and check motor bearings
- Check electrical connections
- Clean condensate drain/cycle pump (if required in heating)
- Clean burners as required
- Inspect heat exchanger
- Check gas pressure as required
- Record static pressure of duct system
- Record temperature rise-high and low if required
- Check venting integrity
- Clean/check flame sensor
- Check HSI/spark ignitor
- Test capacitors
- Replace humidifier pad if on agreement
- Check draft inducer assembly
- Cycle unit at thermostat
